• Minimum age for adult General English / Exam preparation courses = 16

Homestay for students under 14 may be offered if the student is travelling with a group leader, or staying with an older 14 years+ sibling, or is a family member of a former IH Bristol student, please enquire.

• All prices are per person; there is no difference in price for double occupancy of the same room
• Students arriving at their homestay after 11pm/ before 6am incur a late arrival/ early departure fee of £35
• Single week bookings (adults courses): rate is based on Sunday arrival & Saturday departure (6 nights/13 nights/20/nights/27 nights etc)
• Additional nights 2024: Adult Half Board: £42 Adult Self-Catering: £40, Junior Full Board: £45
• Weekly supplement for Halal or gluten free food: £50
• If you want to change accommodation during your course, a new accommodation finding fee of £51 will be charged. We will charge an additional fee of up to £51 if you decide to extend your stay with your host family for more than the original number of weeks.
• There is an additional transaction fee of £5 if you pay for your accommodation in several small amounts. We will ask for £5 each time you make an additional payment.
• If you wish to stay in your accommodation during the two-week Christmas holiday, you will need to a pay a supplement of £51per week on top of the normal cost of your accommodation.
• If you wish to stay elsewhere but keep your belongings at your accommodation during the two-week Christmas holiday and return to the same family afterwards, you will need to a pay a Christmas retainer fee (50% of the usual weekly price)
• Junior homestay price based on a shared twin bedroom, single rooms may be available on a request basis.

A supplement of £19 per week will be added to all homestay accommodation for students on the Adult’s course in High Season.

Unite House (Unite) is a modern, comfortable university residence, in close walking distance of the school. 

IH Bristol rents 'IH Bristol-only' flats for IH Bristol students each summer. Students from other schools will also be in the same building, but in seperate flats.

Flats have en-suite bedrooms with shared kitchen facilities. Each flat has 6 or 7 bedrooms. 

Other great features are:

• Single rooms with private ensuite bathrooms (shower, wet-room)
• 3/4 bed (this is larger than a single bed) with additional storage space under the matress
• Bedding, with 2 towels included
• Self-catering, shared kitchen (shared between the approximately 7 IH Bristol students in each flat)
• Kitchen equipment included (pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, plates, bowls and utensils)
• Shared communal areas - includes table tennis, table football, American pool, cinema room and access to PS4 & Netflix, quiet study space
• Laundry facilities available on site (students pay for this on site each time, or use a local laundrette)
• Students clean their own rooms during their stay; communal areas are cleaned by IH Bristol cleaning team once per week (we replace the kitchen tea towels with clean ones each week also)
• Reception service + 24/7 access to Unite residence emergency contact centre
• Free Wi-Fi

If you want an independent option, Clifton Short Lets offer flexible accommodation within a 10-minute walk in the heart of Clifton.  International House students are able to receive a 10% discount on their rates which include WiFi, bills, council tax and VAT by using the code 'INTHOUSE'.

Your Apartment offer short-term letting across all of their serviced apartments in Bristol, meaning that you can rent an apartment for as little as two nights to 6 months.

International House students are able to receive a 20% discount on their rates.

2024: £37 for full-time adult courses  of 2-12 weeks. £25 supplement each for exam courses (excluding 10/4 week Cambridge Preparation courses) and courses 13+ weeks long. This fee includes coursebook and all other course materials. For 1 week adult courses, a coursebook is optional; photocopied/scanned materials can be provided instead.
