Find out moreInternational House Bristol (IH Bristol) is primarily an English language school in Bristol, in the south west of England, UK. We have 2 buildings, both located in the picturesque neighborhood of Clifton, in easy walking distance of all Bristol’s main sights and attractions. While some students come from the local area, the vast majority travel from their home countries to study English with us: in 2019 we welcomed students from 41 countries around the world!
We offer a range of English language courses both online and for face-to-face learning for adults and juniors. In addition to General and Intensive English, we offer Cambridge English Exam preparation (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS English Exam preparation and OET Exam preparation. If you wish to study English in Bristol, we have the course for you. Adult English courses are year-round.
Our Cambridge summer courses are extremely popular and since we are also an exam centre, you can prepare for and take your Cambridge exams for adults and juniors all in one place. For juniors, we run summer schools in Bristol from June-August, as well as winter and spring programmes in January and April. We are the only independent English school in Bristol for juniors.
We are a CELTA teacher training centre, so not only can you be sure our teaching quality is unmatched, but we are also able to offer free English courses in Bristol at certain times of the year, taught by our teachers in training at our Queens Avenue building.
