Student of the Month February
Congratulations to our February Students of the Month, Fernando and Isabelle!!
Fernando is from Los Angeles, a small town in the south of Chile, where he is in his last year at school. He came to England because he wanted to improve his English level so that he can study civil engineering at a university in Santiago next year.
Fernando thinks that Bristol is a beautiful city and that the people here are very kind and cheerful. He says that from the moment he arrived at the school everyone was really supportive and inclusive, and he found his classes energetic, useful and really fun. A favourite memory of Fernando’s is the weekend trip to Oxford, despite the extremely cold weather!
The teachers chose Fernando as student of the month because of his enthusiasm and support for everything that went on at the school, as well as his consistent effort and positivity in lessons.
Isabelle is an office manager from a small village near Neufchatel in Switzerland. She is studying English to help with both travel and work.
Isabelle’s daughter Elodie studied with us last year and recommended IH Bristol to her. We were very pleased to be able to welcome Elodie back for a short time as well!
Isabelle says that she likes the architecture in the Bristol area and also that it’s good to stay in a city near the water, whether river or sea. She also says that Bristolians are friendly.
She says that she likes IH Bristol because all the teachers are patient here and that the school is like a family.
The teachers decided to make Isabelle the student of the month because of her hard work and positivity in classes, making sure to take a lot of notes and ask plenty of questions.
Congratulations to you both!
