Olivia Campbell
Sales & Marketing Manager
Hello! My name is Olivia and I am the Sales and Marketing Manager at IH Bristol. My role is to help promote the incredible opportunities and experiences we offer.
I love being part of such a vibrant, diverse, and rapidly expanding global industry. The most rewarding part is hearing how we have provided life-changing experiences for our students. At IH Bristol, we are not just educating, but connecting cultures, broadening perspectives, and building memories that become a fundamental part of someone's story. I am incredibly excited to contribute to a field with such immense and personal worldwide impact.
While my degree is in Biological Anthropology, studying how we adapt biologically and culturally to diverse environments has given me a unique lens for understanding the challenges and rewards of cultural exchange.
Outside of work, I have an enthusiasm for learning whether that’s through watching documentaries or reading - I can always provide a fun fact! I really enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music, and playing sports. You can always find me out and about!
I am always happy to help and am eager to support your experience here at IH Bristol – please do get in touch and I would love to chat!

Joanna Thorpe
I’m a teacher of English and manage one of our young learner centres during the busy summer months. I moved to Bristol about a year ago and have really enjoyed getting to know the city. Before moving back to the UK I taught English in Vietnam for six years, where I gained my Diploma and Young Learners qualifications. As I’m originally from Scotland, I can speak with both an English and Scottish accent, and love doing other accents too.
Leander Winden
Hello there! My name’s Leander. I’m part of the IH Bristol administrative team, and I spend most of my time coordinating the exams we run here at the school. Before moving to Bristol I lived in Italy for two years teaching English, so I really appreciate being able to work in such a vibrant, international environment.
