We use this expression when another person says that something is difficult and we disagree. We think it is easy and we are criticising their attitude.

We use this expression to introduce a contrast to what has been said before. It is often a mild form of disagreement.

We use this expression to say thank you for something and say that maybe the other person has been too generous.

We use this expression to introduce a problem.
