"Nice one!"
We use this expression to show we approve of something.

"As a one-off"
We use this expression to say that we are going to do something different from what we normally do.

"No worries"
We use this to say that something is not a problem for us.

"We're all in the same boat"
We use this expression to say that everybody is in the same situation - and normally it is a negative situation.

"I'm up to my eyes (in/with/at)"
We use this expression to say we are very, very busy with something, or that there is a huge quantity of something.

Phrase of the day

"I'm afraid.."
We use this expression when we want to politely say something that will make other people unhappy and often disappointed. We often use this phrase before we give bad news.
