Ciao! My name is Irene and I have recently moved to Bristol. I come from Genova, a fascinating town situated in the North-West of Italy. I obtained my MA in Art History at the University of Genova, then I studied at the University for Foreigners of Siena where I got a Master in Italian Teaching for Foreigners. I have worked as an Italian teacher for foreigners since 2010 in Italy and in the United States at the Italian Institute of Culture of San Francisco. I consider teaching Italian language as a great opportunity to share my beautiful culture with other people and during my lessons my goal is not only to educate but also to inspire students’ interactions and curiosity through modern teaching. I strongly believe in teamwork and in the power of a positive and enjoyable learning environment.I have a great passion for literature, art, cooking and yoga and I am firmly convinced that Beauty, in its various forms, will save the world, as Dostoevskij said.
