Ana Belen Abril Andreu
Hi everyone! My name is Ana and I am a Spanish Teacher at IH Bristol.
I am from Murcia, a city in the South-East of Spain, very famous for the hot weather, the delicious food and the beautiful beaches! It is where I studied my Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education. I moved to England to experience living in another country and to improve my English.
I have also studied a Master’s Degree in teaching Spanish language from the University of Barcelona. As well as teaching Spanish, I work as a Spanish Educational Writer creating resources for secondary education, GCSE, AS and A Level following the various examination boards’ specifications (mainly AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas).
As a student, it is important that you have fun when learning Spanish. In my lessons I encourage my students to speak as much as possible, by creating activities with real world applications and long term benefits. I am a dedicated, resourceful and well organised person who will work to ensure that all my students achieve the best possible results.
After settling well in Bristol, I decided that I wanted to stay because it is a lively city that offers lots of things to do. I love dancing salsa and bachata, watching films and hanging out with friends. ¡Hasta pronto!
