Easter Update
Happy Easter from IH Bristol!
We are looking forward to the long weekend here in Bristol, especially now that lockdown is slowly lifting and groups of up to 6 people are now allowed to meet outdoors. This means in addition to our regular online social events, we can now bring back in-person actitivities, too!
Here's what else is happening at IH Bristol over the next few weeks:
Part-time courses
If you would like to improve your English or are preparing for an exam but don't have a lot of time to commit to classes - out part-time courses are for you. We offer both online and in-person courses at our language centre in Bristol, and the next courses will begin w/c 12th April. Choose from:
Online
- English for Professionals - Tuesdays
- FCE Preparation - Thursdays
- CAE Preparation - Thursdays
Face-to-face
- FCE & CAE Preparation - Tuesday and/or Wednesday nights
- English for Working Life (B1) - Tuesday nights
- English for Working Life (B2) - Wednesday nights

Free English lessons
You may already know that as well as teaching English, IH Bristol also teaches teachers of English! Our next CELTA course begins 12th April and we are looking for people to join our free English lessons taught by our teachers in training. OET
Fantastic news for pharmacists hoping to work in the UK - the General Pharmaceutical Council now accepts OET as proof of English competency! Unlike IELTS, the OET is specifically designed for healthcare professionals so is a much more practical and relevant exam to take to achieve the required qualifications.
