Students of the Month - November 2021

Section:
English Courses

Congratulations to our November students of the month - Nathalya and Musa! Both students are currently attending long term face-to-face English classes with us in Bristol. Here's what their teachers had to say about them:

"Nathalya is from Brazil and has been studying with us since August. She is learning English here in order to validate her degree and become a lawyer in the UK. She says that she likes the language, and after arriving in Britain she found it very different to what she had learnt in Brazil.

Nathalya says that she likes the way teachers explain English in ways that are easy for the students to understand. She noticed in her first week how good it was to study here.

She says that she  loves Bristol. Originally she was planning to stay only for a short time but in her first month decided she loved the place too much! The people here are very kind and very friendly, and Bristol is a beautiful place with parks, trees and a lot of greenery.

The teachers chose Nathalya because she is an incredibly diligent student, a very supportive classmate who always welcomes new students to the class, and because she works hard to learn from her mistakes and continue to improve. This has helped her to make excellent progress so far in her time at IH Bristol. Great job Nathalya!"

"Musa is from Aksaray in Turkey, and is learning English to help himself adapt to life in the UK. After finishing school in Turkey he decided to come to Bristol as his brother lives in the city.

He says that the school is fun, and funny, and that the social programme is very good. He says that it is a special school and all the teachers are happy! Musa says he enjoys Bristol because there are many different buses. There is greenery everywhere and the people are lovely. On top of that, everywhere you go there is history to discover.

The teachers nominated Musa this month because he has been making a lot of effort to join in with classes and practise the new language that he has learned. On top of that, he has been an active presence in the Social Programme, making efforts to join in and speak with the other students. Well done!"

Congratulations both - and keep up the great work!
