Students of the Month - June 2021
Congratulations Nawaf & Abdulrahman!
Both students are currently attending face-to-face English classes with us in Bristol. Here's what their teachers had to say about them:
"Nawaf is from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is improving his English in order to study a master’s degree. In the future, he would like to get a good job in an important bank or a big company.
He likes Bristol because everyone is very friendly and helpful. He also likes the restaurants, the weather (it is too hot in his native city!) and the fact that Bristol is close to London.
Nawaf loves studying at International House and he wouldn’t change anything about it. He says the teachers and staff are very supportive and he has made a lot of friends.
The teachers say that Nawaf is a very hardworking and enthusiastic learner. He is very keen to learn new language and he always tries to use it in the lessons!"
"Abdulrahman is from Al-Jahra in Kuwait. He is improving his English to get a place at a British university, and hopes to study Pharmacology.
He enjoys Bristol because of its friendly people, cool weather (especially the rain!) and variety of restaurants. He recommends Wagamama's near the school.
Abdulrahman told us he likes IH Bristol because of its friendly teachers and fellow students, and that his favourite moment so far was the England vs Scotland table football match!
Abdulrahman’s teachers appreciate his hard work and interesting contributions to lessons. He has been a great member of the class both online and face to face, and has made excellent progress, recently moving to Advanced level. Well done!"
