Congratulations to Mo and Elena!
They are March’s Students of the Month!
Mo arrived in Bristol at the end of last year. He might spend a year here studying English. His sister received an offer from Bristol university so he came here with her. She will be here for two years, so Mo might stay for that long!
Mo studied biology at university. He would like to take the IELTS exam so that he can do a Masters at a British university. Mo says that he likes Bristol because it has a good atmosphere. He says that the people are friendly, and the city is nice and quiet.
The teachers chose Mo because he’s always very positive and funny in his classes. He goes on the social programme and helps the other students.
Elena came to Bristol ten months ago, but she didn’t start at IH until January. She’s only got three more weeks here. She heard good things about the city and thought “why not?” She also knew that she didn’t want to live in London!
Elena worked as a lawyer for many years before she came to Bristol. She’d like to work in law again. Elena likes studying here because she says you can meet different people from many countries. She also says that the teachers are very friendly and helpful!
The teachers chose Elena because she works really hard. She has come to conversation club and she went to the English UK conference in London.
