The best way for you to learn English is to come and study with us in Bristol. However, since that is not always possible, we have created the Learn Online section to help you make progress wherever you are.

Free Exercises - These exercises are aimed at those who wish to prepare to take an examination. They have a variety of practice papers in all the task types required by the Cambridge Esol exams. You can choose to do the test against the clock or simply take as long as you want to complete the exercise. Either way, you are learning more about English and how to use it.

Useful Expressions - At International House Bristol we believe in teaching language in chunks, not as single words. Out of this philosophy, we have developed our Useful Expressions section. You can search for language related to a specific area such as ‘Talking about good ideas’ or ‘Resolutions and promises’ and you can work at the level most suited to your ability. The range of language used is very, very wide and the opportunities for learning are numerous. The only limit is the amount of time you are able to spend online.
